New Life for Girls
Helping women break free from addiction and start a new life in Christ.

About the ministry
Freedom and a fresh start.
New Life for Girls is a Christian, 24-hour residential program for women 18 and older, as well as mothers and their children. It helps women who are struggling with life-controlling problems like drug and alcohol addiction, eating disorders, and abuse.
Their mission is to free women from addiction, restore their self-worth, and train them to successfully re-enter society. Their main campus is right here in Dover, PA, where the ministry started in 1972.
How it works
A three-phase program
Phase 1
A new way of living
Counseling and support in a completely substance-free and smoke-free setting.
Phase 2
Facing life’s challenges
Counseling, daily Bible courses, school, job skills, and work-ethic training at the Dover campus.
Phase 3
Re-entry into society
Leadership and work experience, computer skills, and help earning a GED.
New Life for Girls does not receive government funding. Women are not charged for their stay, except for a small entrance fee based on what they can pay.
